We partnered with Youth Art Exchange (YAX) to support a pivotal moment in their evolution—from a youth-focused arts nonprofit to a broader community-centered creative hub. As they approached their 25th anniversary, YAX needed a refreshed visual identity and a messaging strategy that could communicate both continuity and growth. Our goal was to help them honor their legacy while clearly articulating their expanded mission to new and existing stakeholders.

Our work included a full visual brand refresh: flyer templates for events, a social media suite, a presentation deck, and a cohesive style guide—all designed in Canva so the YAX team could easily adapt and reuse assets. We brought a layered, collage-inspired aesthetic that paired archival photos with bold new elements to reflect their history and vision for the future.

Alongside visual design, we developed a comprehensive messaging platform tailored for different audiences—including donors, families, and housing advocates. We helped YAX reframe their identity, introducing language and metaphors that emphasized their new role as an anchor for creative infrastructure and cultural equity. The result is a flexible communications toolkit that supports everything from fundraising to community engagement to press outreach.
